The Sisterhood of Congregation Beth Israel in Scotch Plains will host a reception featuring image consultant Janet Cargill on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 from 7 pm – 9 pm.
Cargill is the author of the book Look Damn Good: At Your Age, With Your Body and On Your Budget. Wine, cheese and crackers, dessert and coffee will be served at the event, which is open to the community. Janet Cargill is an image consultant, author and motivational speaker. She spent more than 16 years as a wardrobe consultant, fashion show coordinator, executive sales trainer and award-winning salesperson for Brooks Brothers, Ralph Lauren and Liz Claiborne. Cargill will explain how a woman can discover her own unique beauty and how to work with it in alignment with who she is, her lifestyle, her body type, her age and her budget. “We chose Janet Cargill to speak at our spring event this year because she’s a dynamic presenter and her message to feel good about our looks empowers all women,” said Rita Geller, Sisterhood event co-chair, Congregation Beth Israel.
