Orientation Session - Union County College

Union County College will be hosting an Orientation Session on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 9 a.m., for students who are going to be starting classes at the College this spring.

The Campus Fair will provide students and their parents with the opportunity to meet with representatives of academic departments, student organizations, and administrative departments and to learn more about Union County College.  The Orientation session will provide new students with the opportunity to meet their future classmates, to learn about student activities, to tour the campus, to learn about the counseling and tutoring services available at the College, and a chance to begin to explore career paths.

To attend the Orientation, please RSVP to orientation@ucc.edu or call (908) 709-7518.  All orientation sessions are free; however, RSVPs are recommended.

Offering more than 75 credit programs, Union County College is focused on ensuring that its programs and facilities are equipped to prepare students for the intellectual and technological demands of today.

For those wishing to pursue a bachelors degree, the economics of spending the first two years at Union County College, coupled with the many dual admissions and transfer/articulation agreements that the College has in place, can ease the road to junior year status at a long list of colleges and universities throughout the U.S.

Union County College is a comprehensive community college serving approximately 35,000 credit and non-credit students. It is committed to serving the higher educational needs of Union County.  The College has an open admissions policy for both transfer and career programs and is dedicated to the fundamental values of public higher education.  The first of New Jersey’s 19 community colleges, Union County College provides opportunities for higher education for people of diverse ethnic, racial, cultural, educational and socioeconomic backgrounds in a multi-campus setting.  The College has campuses located in Cranford, Elizabeth, and Plainfield.  For more information, visit www.ucc.edu.
