Union County College Offering New CompTIA NETWORK + Certification Course - Register Now

Union County College is offering a new CompTIA Network + Certification course starting this June.  The course is for students who have acquired general knowledge of computers through work experience, for those who already have a CompTIA A+ certification, or who have completed A+ certification classes.  This is an 80.5 hour program that prepares students to take the CompTIA Network + certification exam.  Many companies, such as Dell, HP, Sharp and Xerox recommend or require CompTIA Network + for their technicians.

Students who take this course and pass the Network + certification exam will be prepared for jobs as a network administrator, network installer, help desk technician, or IT cable installer.  Several topics covered in the class will include network basics, network-to-network communications, network security, wireless networking standards, and more.

Register now for this course, which begins on June 5, 2012. Classes will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 pm – 9:30 pm until August 21, 2012.  The cost for the class is $965 and it will be held on the College’s Cranford campus, located at 1033 Springfield Avenue.  For more information or to register, please call (908) 709-7600 or go to www.ucc.edu/noncredit
