Hillside Avenue School Harks Back to 1920s With "Thoroughly Modern Millie"

1920's musical romp grabs you with swinging music, wonderful dancing and many laughs.

On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Hillside Avenue School presented Thoroughly Modern Millie, a high-spirited musical romp that had the audience at HAS clapping along and cheering for more. 

Taking place in New York City in 1922, Thoroughly Modern Millie is the story of young Millie Dillmount, who has just moved to the city in search for a new life.  Based on the popular movie, the stage version of Thoroughly Modern Millie includes a full score of new songs and bright dance numbers.

The play is filled with flappers, dashing leading men and an evil dragon-lady audiences love to hate.
