MacKenzie Dow Places 10th in Gymnastics

Cranford H.S. grad is a freshman at Penn State

Cranford High School grad Mackenzie Dow finished 10th in the junior men's U.S. all-around category at the 2009 Visa Championships at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX., August 12. The competition featured the nation's top gymnasts.

Dow is a 2009 CHS graduate who is now a freshman at Penn State. He finished 23d overall in last year's junior nationals championships.

In Dallas, where he competed in the 16-18-year-old junior division, Dow placed first in the vault, 9th in the floor exercise and parallel bars, 11th in the pommel horse, 15th in the still rings, and 19th in the horizontal bar.
