Three Run Uncontested For Board of Education Seats

Petition deadline passed March 8.

Three people are running uncontested for three seats on the Cranford Board of Education this year including incumbent Joann Boyle, Michael Caulfield and newcomer Trevor Shaw. The deadline for petitions passed at 4 p.m. on March 8. 

Shaw aims the fill the spot of Jill Brown, a member of the nine-person board since 2004, said Business Administrator of Schools Robert Carfagno.

If elected this will be Boyle's third term on the Board of Education, originally voted to office in 2005. Originally elected in 2002, this will be Caulfield's fourth term if voted into office.
