The Union County Baseball Association, in cooperation with the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders and the Department of Parks and Community Renewal, is pleased to announce another season of the Fall Teen Baseball League. As always, the league will use wood bats only.

The Fall Teen Baseball League will begin play on Friday, Sept. 7. All games will be played in Warinanco Park, on the border of Roselle and Elizabeth. The format will consist of Friday evening games and Saturday and Sunday games for approximately six weekends. The age requirement for all participants will be 15 through 18 years of age. All players must have celebrated their 15th birthday on or before Sept. 1, 2012. Players who reach the age of 19 before Nov. 1, 2012, are not eligible.

The cost of registration is a flat fee of $750 per team. The registration fee must be submitted before the first scheduled game. No team will be permitted to participate in the league if their registration fee and all paperwork (including waiver forms and copies of birth certificates) are not submitted prior to the first scheduled game.

All teams must have an adult coach. Players will not be allowed to act in that capacity. Coaches must be present at all games. Rosters must be submitted by August 27. Please keep in mind that only a limited number of teams will be admitted to the league, so submit your payment and paperwork as soon as possible.

For a registration form and more information about the Fall Teen Baseball League, please call James Iozzi, president of the Union County Baseball Association, at 908-917-2523.
