Cranford’s VFW Post #335 has announced it will be holding its annual blood drive on Jan. 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at its Post Home at 479 South Ave. E. in Cranford.
VFW Chairperson, Joe Del Grippo stressed the need for Cranford residents to take part in this important township event. “Blood supplies are always at critically low levels this time of the year because we are all so busy with the holidays. Plus the severe weather we have had has only made matters worse! We need a great turnout to fix the shortages and bring the blood supplies to a safe level. Please help us help those in need.”
All donors will receive a complimentary “T- Shirt” as well as a free cholesterol screening. “But the best part”, Del Grippo stated, “is that after giving blood you always feel so good about yourself!” Additional information can be obtained by calling the VFW at 908-276-9730 or emailingjimdrc@verizon.net.
