Holiday Shoppe, Gift Drop-Off for Santa Delivery This Week

What’s happening this week in Cranford?

Meetings: The Cranford Town Committee will meet on Monday evening for their workshop meeting at 7:30 p.m. On Tuesday, the committee will host its official meeting in the council chambers at 7:30 p.m. Three police department patrolman will be appointed by the committee on a probationary period. A final reading of Cranford’s affordable housing program will be read along with a public hearing.

Gift drop off for Santa Delivery: The Cranford Fire Department is accepting gifts for Toys for Tots and for local Cranford children to be delivered by Santa. Drop offs are being accepted on Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Gifts should be wrapped and clearly labeled with the Cranford child’s name and address.

Neighbors-Helping-Neighbors Meeting: The neighbors-helping-neighbors job search support group will meet at the Cranford Public Library on Wednesday at 7 p.m. Join fellow neighbors for free as you share your job search stories. 

“A Season of Miracles” Performance: 
The Pushcart Players will perform “A Season of Miracles” at Bloomingdale Avenue School on Friday at 1:30 p.m. The musical features multiple songs and holiday tales to celebrate Christmas, Kwanza and Hanukkah.

Cranford Recreational Middle School Dance:
The Cranford Community Center will host its teen dance on Friday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the center. Tickets are available at the middle schools for $5 on Wednesday at Thursday. Those who attend private school can purchase a ticket at the community center.

Christmas Holiday Shoppe:  The Cranford United Methodist Church will host the third annual Holiday Shoppe on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Over 45 vendors will offer crafts and gifts and lunch will also be available for purchase. Check back with Patch for a full story.  The Cranford High School Madrigals will perform at 10:30 a.m.

Sip ‘n Shop: Enjoy light refreshments while you shop at The Jumble Store on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
