'Seussical The Musical' Brings 'Funny Fun Fun' This Weekend

The event is held each Saturday from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. through November. Locavore action is coming to Westfield as well: The Westfield Farmer's Market takes place at the South Avenue Train Station from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. The Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce runs the market as an extension of its "buy local" philosophy. The youth version of the Broadway hit "Suessical The Musical" Presented by The Theater Project Jr. comes to Cranford this weekend for three performances at Jardine Academy. The show, which features an all-kid cast, is all about celebrating childhood and imagination and having what Dr. Seuss' Cat in the Hat would call "funny fun fun." Tickets for the event are $12; kids under five are admitted for free. Buy tickets online. Performances take place Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. at the school, 61 Myrtle St. in Cranford.
