What Would Make Cranford Better in 2013?

Cranford Patch asked residents to voice their opinions about what they thought Cranford could improve in 2013. We got a few answers on Facebook. Flooding and Cranford's police chief were two things that reappeared. A simple "no flooding," is how Patch reader Charlie kicked off the comment thread. Cranford has seen some of the worst flooding in years after Hurricane Irene hit over a year ago. His call for no flooding was echoed by Maureen, who added safe schools, an outdoor farmers market and Jim Wozniak for police chief, to her list of improvements. Summertime jazz in different parts of downtown Cranford (like they have in Westfield). It would make more foot traffic for the local stores, people sitting to eat at the restaurants and something fun for families to do on a Friday or Saturday evening.   more ›
