On Dec. 12 and Dec. 14 the Jaycees partnered up with the Cranford Police and the Fire Department to deliver toys to Cranford kids.
A special program gets residents to send in gifts and in return get a gift delivered to their home from Santa. The joint effort has been going on for a few years already and helps spread the joy of Christmas to Cranford youth with a gift several days ahead of the holiday. The Cranford Jaycees donate their time, along with the police department and fire deparment in making this event a success.
By Dec. 5, drop off a donated toy and your own unwrapped gift to be delivered to your home.

If you are interested in participating you are asked to drop off an unwrapped toy to be given to a local charity. This year's parade will be Sunday, Oct. 28. Gathering and registration will begin at 1 p.m. in the parking lot at Cranford Community Center and judging at 1:30 p.m. The parade starts at 2 p.m. and ends at the Gazebo in Parking Lot 1, near the Fire Department. It will be followed by the Pumpkin Chunkin at 2:30 p.m., followed by the awards.
