Robert Jordan arrested Macie Tucciarone, 22, of Staten Island and Jacqueline Joseph-Wold, 44, of Brooklyn for Possession of Prescription Medication (Tucciarone: Xanax and Joseph-Wold: Suboxone and Possession of Paraphernalia, according to the report. Tucciarone and Joseph-Wold were stopped at South Avenue and Washington Place when Ptl. Jordan noticed erratic driving by a 1999 Nissan Sentra that was crossing the line on South Avenue. Spencer Durkin arrested Erica Dilcher, 18 and Jared Mullen, 19, of Clark for Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana (less than 50g) and Possession of Paraphernalia. Ptl. Durkin stopped a 1997 beige Nissan for failure to yield as it exited the Garden State Parkway at Centennial Ave/Cayuga Rd. Following an investigation at the scene he located suspected marijuana and a crack pipe inside the vehicle. Additional suspected cocaine was located on the person of the driver, Dilcher. A Cranford woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Long Island. On April 7, Frida Wasserman, 37, of Cranford, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. The suspect was driving on East Park Avenue in Long Beach, N.Y., when she was pulled over, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

A Newark man was arrested on March 13 after police discovered a pistol in his vehicle following a motor vehicle stop for erratic driving. According to Cranford Police, Patrolman Spencer Durkin stopped a black, 1998 Ford at 3:23 a.m. on Centennial Avenue at Raritan Road for erratic driving. During the investigation at the scene, the driver, identified as Joseph Webb, 45, of Newark, attempted to drive away but was stopped and apprehended several blocks away. Patrolman Durkin located a semi-automatic handgun — later determined to be a starter pistol loaded with blank 9mm rounds — inside the vehicle. Webb was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and eluding police. The suspect was …

A Linden man was arrested for possession of prescription pills on March 12, following a motor vehicle stop. According to Cranford Police, Patrolman Spencer Durkin stopped a green, 2000 Pontiac on Centennial Avenue at Raritan Road at 6:19 p.m. for allegedly failing to stop at a red light. During the course of an investigation, Patrolman Durkin located 24 suspected oxycodone pills inside the vehicle. The occupant of the vehicle, identified as Christopher Banko, 29, of Linden, was placed under arrest and charged with possession of prescription pills and possession of drug paraphernalia. Banko was transported to Cranford Police Headquarters where he was processed and released pending a court appearance in Union County Superior Court.

Police arrested a Perth Amboy Man on Feb. 11 for drug possession following a routine motor vehicle stop. According to Cranford Police Reports, Patrolman Brian Lopez stopped a 2000 blue Dodge on Centennial Avenue at 4:05 p.m. for a passenger seatbelt violation. Following an investigation at the scene, Patrolman Lopez located suspected marijuana and Percocet on the person of the passenger, who was identified as Lawrence Grey, 50, of Perth Amboy. Grey was arrested, processed and released with a court appearance scheduled for Feb. 13 in Cranford Municipal Court. The driver, a 19-year-old male from Woodbridge, was released from the scene without being charged.

Cranford Police arrested a 43-year-old Elizabeth resident for drug possession and distribution following a motor vehicle stop on Jan. 30. Police say there was an 8-year-old child in the car at the time of the arrest. Kinner Harris was arrested at 9:55 p.m. following a traffic stop on Centennial Avenue at Grant Street. According to reports, Patrolman Spencer Durkin stopped a 1999 black Chrysler 300 for attempting an illegal left turn exiting the Garden State Parkway. During an investigation at the scene, Durkin located suspected heroin and marijuana in the driver's possession as well as suspected oxycodone pills inside the vehicle.
