PD: Clark Woman Used Knife to Rob 7-Eleven, Later Said She Was Mugged

Garwood Police have arrested Jamie Knack, 24, of Clark for robbing the North Avenue 7-Eleven at knifepoint, and later falsely reporting that she herself was mugged. According to police, around 10 p.m. on Saturday, Knack approached one of the 7-Eleven employees and told him that she had a knife and demanded that he open the cash register. The employee opened the register and Knack took approximately $500 in cash, then fled the location. While the patrol units were at the 7-Eleven, another armed robbery was reported approximately 15 minutes later on the 300 block of Second Avenue.
