Chef for a Day: Dinner in a Pinch and Little Scoops team up for “Chef for a Day” open to ages 4 and up. Visit, here, to reserve tickets. 

Hillside Avenue Tunnel: The work on the tunnel is still underway. The first day of school is out of the question for completion, according to Mayor Tom Hannen. Check back with Cranford Patch for more information on the tunnel progress.

Fire Me Up! Studio: Fire Me Up! is now open on N. Union Avenue next to Lidia’s Cuban Kitchen. We’ll take a look inside the studio later today.

Name the Cone!: Vanilla Bean Creamery is hosting a contest to name the ice cream cone mascot! Winner will receive a $25 gift card. Place your suggestion in the box on the shop’s counter by Sept. 21.
