Cranford Dramatic Club Fundraiser, Comedy Plays and More

Here's what is happening in Cranford this Thursday.

What you need to know in Cranford today, Sept. 19.

Short Comedy: Plays by and about senior citizens will be read aloud at the Cranford Community Center on Saturday at 2 p.m. Members of the Theatre Project of New Jersey will read the Staged Play readings. For more, visit cranford.com/library.

Pulmonary Fibrosis 5k: The 5th annual Garden State 5k Run/Walk for Pulmonary Fibrosis will take place in Nomahegan Park this Saturday. All proceeds will benefit the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. Register for $10 per adult or $5 for children. 

Sports for Sept: 19: Girls Soccer takes on Linden (away) at 7 p.m. Boys Soccer vs. Union at home at 4 p.m.  Girls Volleyball faces Westfield at home at 4 p.m. The Field Hockey team will Montclair at 4 p.m. (HOME). For more sports visit our weekly scoreboard

Antique Sale: The Cranford Antiques Sale and Show will take place at the Cranford United Methodist Church beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday. This event only happens twice a year. Read more, here.


Festifall: The annual fall street fair in nearby Westfield is this Sunday!  


Cranford Dramatic Club Fundraiser: The 95th season kick-off fundraiser for the Cranford Dramatic Club will take place on Saturday at 6 p.m. The event will feature entertainment, food, win, tricky tray, silent auction and more. Cost is $40 in advance or $50 at the door. For more information visit the CDC website.
