Walk to School Day, Breast Cancer Blood Drive and More

What you need to know today, Oct. 9, in Cranford.

Walk to School:
It's Walk to School Day! Ditch the car and get walking this morning. Walnut and Livingston Avenue schools will participate in the national event, which raises awareness of the need to create safer routes for walking and bicycling. 

Breast Cancer Blood Drive: Donate blood to support Breast Cancer Awareness at Livingston Avenue School. The drive begins at 2:30 p.m. Each donor will be entered to win a pair of Super Bowl tickets.

Sports: Oct. 9: Girls Tennis vs. Union (Home) at 4 p.m.

Used Book Sale: The Friends of the Cranford Public Library hosts their used book sale on Wednesday featuring children’s and adult books, CDs, DVDS and recorded books. Sale is from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and continues until Saturday.
