NJIT Student Places Second at Art of Concrete Competition

NJIT Concrete Industry Management (CIM) student Disan Katumba, of Linden, won second place in the recent American Concrete Institute (ACI) Art of Concrete Competition.  Katumba is also an NJIT ACI student chapter member.  The international competition, held this year in Phoenix, Arizona, challenges students to explore the artistic nature of concrete and display its many varieties of form, function, and beauty.
