The “Pipes of St. Paul’s” to be featured in Concert on November 17 in Westfield

The Friends of Music at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Westfield will present a special concert on Sunday, November 17th at 4pm.   The concert will showcase St. Paul’s magnificent pipe organ – one of the largest in the northeast region.

Included on the program are a variety of works selected to display the unique orchestral and classical voices of the organ.   These include Sibelius’ Finlandia, as well as works by Bach, Daquin, Grieg, Manz Schumann and Sullivan.

Charles M. Banks, St. Paul’s director of music and esteemed organist, will be joined by concert pianists Pamela Aslin (of Cranford) and Doris La Mar (of Westfield) in duets for piano and organ, including arrangements of Amazing Grace and Simple Gifts.
