County Will Spray For Mosquitos Tonight In Cranford
Several local streets will be sprayed.
The county of Union is spraying for mosquitos tonight between the hours of 7 p.m. and midnight, weather permitting.
Following is the list of streets and locations they will be spraying in Cranford: Crane Parkway, Burnside Avenue, Hillcrest Avenue, Windsor Place and Hazel Street.
The mosquito spraying is part of their routine program that has been done safely and effectively for over 30 years on both a scheduled and "as-needed" basis. The chemicals are not harmful and residents may continue normal routines. If you are on or near a spray route, they just ask if you see a "spray" truck to please keep a safe distance as they are in operation.
