Deadline for Scarecrow Stroll Quickly Approaching
Applications for the annual event must be submitted by Sept. 30.
Fall is officially here and The Office of Business and Economic Development is now accepting registrations for the annual "Scarecrow Stroll" in Downtown Cranford.
The event is open to Cranford residents and will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 17, but the deadline to enter is Sept. 30.
All scarecrows must be at least 3 feet tall and a maximum of five feet tall. The event is a family friendly event so no gruesome, bloody or inappropriate scarecrows will be considered.
Votes for favorite scarecrow in both the 12 & under and 13 & over category will be accepted between Oct. 17 and Oct. 27. Ballots will be mailed to all Cranford residents and also available at Cranford businesses.
