37th Annual CROP Walk

The 37th annual Cranford CROP Hunger Walk. C.R.O.P. will take place today beginning at 2:00pm with registration at 1:45pm.  The local CROP Walk committee has set a goal of 150 Walkers and hopes to raise $13,000 to help stop hunger and poverty here in our community and around the world, through self-help initiatives.

This event will begin at Cranford United Methodist Church, 201 Lincoln Avenue East, Cranford.  All walkers are asked to bring a $5 gift card to any local supermarket to be donated to Cranford Family Care.  In light of the devastation throughout the area these food gift cards will be used to help families displaced from their homes.

Twenty-five percent of the funds raised here in Cranford will go to support Cranford Family Care, and Food Pantries of Osceola Presbyterian Church, Clark and St. Theresa’s of Kenilworth.  For more information about the Cranford CROP Hunger Walk, contact Robin Marko, 908-789-0379 or your CROP coordinator in your house of worship.
