Pumpkin Carving Contest Announced
The contest will be held at Hanson Park on Saturday October 27.
Jersey Central Art Studios along with the Friends of the Library and the Hanson House Conservancy will host its second pumpkin carving contest at Hanson Park on Saturday October 27th. Registered, pre carved pumpkins will be lighted and displayed along the paths of Hanson Park during the evening for all to see and enjoy.
The contest is free and open to all who would like to submit their creative pumpking carvings. Each pumpkin, which will be lighted, will be placed its own pedestal in a arrangement that illuminates a haunted pathway through Hanson Park.
The evening will start with an outdoor showing of the Bride of Frankenstein, continuing the creepy classic monster movie theme from last year.
