“We have seen a great deal of success, especially with one of our first graduates that went through our program, Justin Bennett,” Mike Salvatore,Associate General Agent explains. “Justin was our earliest success story, he had the drive, the commitment and the intelligence we look for.” Justin went on to be the “New Agent of The Year” for The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America in his first year in business.

Steven Ferrara, CEO of Northeast Planning Corporation states,“there is a great shortage of young talent in the financial advisory world and many existing advisors are entering into their retirement years. You couple that with a 32% growth rate in the Financial Advisor world, according to Bureau of Labor Statistics, you can make the assessment that we need talent to keep up with the market.”

The “Grad Squad” program provides comprehensive training and support to ensure the graduates have all the tools they need to succeed as a planner. “It is a bit of a boot camp in some ways. Many of our graduates get exposure to, not only advanced planning strategies and product knowl- edge, but they also get accustomed to a corporate infrastructure and the ins and out of running their own business,” James DeMatteo, part of the leadership team adds.
