Press Release: Library To Launch Books For Kids Campaign

The will launch its 19th annual Books for Kids campaign on Nov. 1.

Each year thousands of disadvantaged children from all across New Jersey are given the chance to own a new book of their very own through this very important program. Give a child the gift of reading by bringing a new, unwrapped book to the library collection box. Books for children from preschool through age fourteen are needed. They will be distributed by the Cranford Family Care Association to local families in need.

Established in 1991, Books for Kids is a statewide program sponsored by the Children’s Services Section of the New Jersey Library Association. Donations will be accepted through Dec. 11.
