Prepare for College Math & the Accuplacer - FREE event

See a live demonstration of an all new program that can help you prepare for the math section of the Accuplacer or GED exam! Union County College has partnered with innovative educational technology company Knewton to offer Knewton Math Readiness, a web-based, adaptive math tool that helps prepare students for college-level math.  Knewton Math Readiness has increased pass rates in remedial math at some of the largest educational institutions in the country. Union County College is currently the only community college in New Jersey offering Knewton Math Readiness.

There will be a FREE live demonstration of this web-based math tool on Wednesday, Jan. 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Victor M Richel Student Commons on the college's Cranford campus.  Knewton Math Readiness could be a great option for you. In this course you'll move through instruction at your own pace and skip material that you already know. You'll also be taught by highly qualified New Jersey certified math teachers. Math Readiness classes will be offered soon, later in January and February so now is the perfect time to learn more. No need to register for the free demo, just show up, but if you want more information or to register to take this class, contact Siobhan Marshall at (908) 709-7614 or Siobhan.marshall@ucc.edu.
