TEDS Tricky Tray Dinner Feb. 8th 6-10 PM


Trinity Episcopal Day School (TEDS) is hosting their second annual Tricky Tray. It will be held on Friday February 8, 2013 from 6:00 – 10:00 pm at The Westwood, 438 North Avenue, Garwood, NJ. Tickets are $40.00 per person. Included in the price is both a dinner and $15.00 worth of raffle tickets. A cash bar will be available. “We have some very exciting items this year’s Tricky Tray  including a 39’ flat screen TV, a Nook reader, Calvin Klein and Vera Bradley purses,  L”Eau D’issey perfume, and a wide variety of gift baskets”, said Dr. Korine Dankowski, TEDS Director. “Proceeds from the evening will go to resurface the TEDS playground. We invite all adults to join us for a fun evening for a great cause”, Dr. Dankowski added.


Trinity Episcopal Day School serves children from 21/2 to 13 years of age. TEDS has a number of flexible schedule options including half days, 2 days per week, five days per week, and early drop-off (from 7:00 AM) and late pick-up (until 6:00 PM) to accommodate the demands of busy, working families.  “We are also very pleased to offer a Kindergarten Wrap-Around program,” said Dr. Dankowski. “It provides a full-day of kindergarten, ½ day in TEDS and a ½ day in public school. The goal is to provide the child with an easier transition into first grade in public school.” she continued. “We also offer an active after-school program”, Dr. Dankowski said. Homework supervision and tutoring is available for ages 7 to 13. TEDS will also be offering a Summer Program in 2013 for children from 21/2 to 13 years of age.

Trinity Episcopal Day School places a high priority on Child safety. Entry to the school accessed with a code/card access security system. TEDS is monitored via video on a 24 hour basis. There is daily communication between teachers and parents to keep parents informed about their child’s day. “We are so fortunate that our school administrator is also a Registered Nurse,” commented Dr. Dankowski.  


Trinity Episcopal Day School is committed to providing excellent Child Development. TEDS uses a standard, approved curriculum that promotes learning through play. The school has a low student/teacher ratio allowing individual attention in a small class setting. TEDS provides learning in all areas of development, and an emphasis on building creative abilities and positive self-image. Spiritual development is enhanced through respect for one another and love of the environment. “We live our school motto ‘Growth through nurturing, caring, preparing’ everyday,” said Dr. Dankowski. “Our goal is to give each child a solid foundation for life-long success,” she continued.
