I wanted to point out an extreme act of kindness that happened today.
It was 100 degrees outside and my battery died while I was running errands. The owner of Cranford Paint and Hardware Store, 104 South Ave. W. took the time to help me jump start my car. He didn't accept my $10 offer for a reward. I wanted to give it to his wife inside, but she declined. However, I left the bill on the counter and ran out.
I'm self-employed myself, so I know how hard it is to stop what you're doing when you're working. This is something you don't see in this day and age. I am just so grateful that he helped me. I'm sorry I didn't get his name, but Cranford Paint and Hardware Store deserves to be thanked publicly!
