Five Things You Need to Know for Sept. 20, 2011

What's going on today...

1. The will show the classic film "My Little Chickadee," 1941, at the Cranford Community Center, 220 Walnut Ave. The movie will begin at 7 p.m. and is approximately 90 minutes long.

2.Registration is now open for the Harry Potter Lock-In at the Cranford Public Library. Watch the first two Harry Potter Films and have fun during intermission. The Lock-In will take place on Sept. 23 from 6 to 11 p.m.

3. As of Monday, almost 75 percent of the have ben collected from homes affected by the recent flooding. The crews are picking up general household items first. Applicances, metals and electronics will be collected separatelly. If possible, residents should separate these items and paint cans to help speed up the removal process.

4. The continues to be located at the Cranford Community Center, 220 Walnut Ave. from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week.
