Polls Receive Steady Trickle of Voters

Cranford's town clerk expects things to pick up after people start getting off work.

Many of Cranford's polling stations saw a slow, yet steady trickle of voters from 9 to 10 Tuesday morning.

The before-work rush had calmed down by then and poll workers at Cranford High School, Orange Avenue School, Lincoln School and the municipal building watched the doors and hallways, chatting among themselves while waiting for the voters to arrive.

Town Clerk Tara Rowley expects more people to drop by and vote once they finish work for the day.
