CRANFORD'S HANSON CONSERVANCY

The Community is invited to a presentation by Lynda Feder, Past President of the Hanson Park Conservancy illustrating the progress at Hanson Park from its humble beginnings in 2005 through the present.  She will provide information on the various aspects of Hanson Park and how each section relates to the overall plan. The mission of the Conservancy is to provide monies through private fundraising efforts to implement the Phase II plan for Hanson Park and to complete the restoration of the Cranford Canoe Club. The Conservancy plans to continue beyond the implementation phase to provide guidance and support for ongoing maintenance of the park.

This event is sponsored by the College Women's Club of Cranford, who invites the community to meet neighbors, network, be educated as well as entertained.   The College Women's Club of Cranford has as its mission the goals of informing college women of educational, civic and social issues in the community, as well as to finance scholarships beyond the secondary school level for students who reside in Cranford.  Interested Cranford women with degrees from a four-year college are invited to join the organization.   The club meets the second Monday of each month from October through May at the First Presbyterian Church, Cranford.  Meetings begin at 7:30 pm, and a guest speaker at 8pm.  Topics vary from art, poetry, music to social issues, and more.  Membership is not required to attend the presentations, and we invite the public to come and connect with other community members.
