Cranford schools received a total of $1,000 in Educational Alliance Grant checks from Exxon Mobil Corporation last week

The grant is one of only 2,400 awarded to schools nationwide. It will go to support mathematics and science education in Cranford public schools.

This grant was courtesy of the Exxon Mobil station located at 162 Central Avenue in Clark. Stephen Izzo, manager of grants and special programs for Cranford schools, prepared and secured the grants. Mountainside schools also received a grant check for $750.
