Jewish Community Center Expands Preschool to Cranford

The program will be held at Temple Beth-El Mekor Chayim.

The Jewish Community Center of Central New Jersey recently expanded its preschool program to Temple Beth-El Mekor Chayim in Cranford.

The center, located in Scotch Plains, is starting a small, intimate 2s program in both half-day and full-day options. The JCC also offers early and late stay care options at the new Cranford location.

Preschool and kindergarten provided through the JCC are National Association for the Education of Young Children accredited and recognized as a Sheva Learning Community Cornerstone School.

“Sheva (seven) is comprised of seven core elements which identify and distinguish the school as a progressive, dynamic and excellent learning community,” the JCC stated in a release.  “Which identifies with constructivist learning philosophies and is inspired by Jewish expressions of values.”

Temple Beth-El Mekor Chayim is located at 338 Walnut Avenue in Cranford, which is in walking distance of the Cranford Train Station and bus stop and minutes from the Garden State Parkway.
