Newsweek: Cranford High Ranked as One of the Top Schools in America

CHS was ranked 352nd in the nation.

Cranford High School was ranked 352nd in Newsweek's annual list of the best high schools in America. CHS made quite the jump from last year, when they were ranked at 551st. This puts Cranford at the 28th highest ranking school in New Jersey.

More than 1000 schools were assessed, and the list was determined through a number of methods. Experts looked at the school's four year on-time graduation rate, percent of students who enrolled in college, average standardized test scores among other things. Cranford High School has a 97 percent graduation rate, with 89 percent of students continuing to college.
