Student Achievement: Cranford Residents Earn Academic Accolades

The following is an update on some of the accomplishments of Cranford High School graduates and residents of the township.

In press releases from many colleges, we have learned of local students who have recently graduated or received honors: 

  • John Hoeffler received a bachelor's degree in sociology during the commencement ceremony at Widener University in Chester, Pa.
  • Nicholas Cook and Emily Weisgerber were named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2012 semeter at Widener University in Chester, Pa. The Dean's List recognizes full-time students who earned a grade point average of 3.50 and above for the semester.
  • Dominique Collucci was one of 500 graduates from the College of Saint Elizabeth and received a Bachelors of Arts in Art at the 2012 commencement.
  • Dana J. DeChiaro received a master of science in occupational therapy from the Jesuit University's College of Graduate and Continuing Education at Scranton.
  • Emily A. Gardner received a master of science in occupational therapy from the Jesuit University's College of Graduate and Continuing Education at Scranton.

The following Cranford residents graduated from Marist College the weekend of May 18:

  • Angela Loffa received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
  • Caroline Osinski received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
  • Michael Ozolnieks received a Bachelor of  Science degree in Digital Media.
