Cranford Rotary Golf Outing Raises More Than $12K

The event benefited the Cerebral Palsy Adult Services League.

The 23rd annual Cranford Rotary Golf outing was a huge success on June 22 as one hundred golfers teed off to raise money for the Cerebral Palsy Adult Services League and the Cranford Rotary Club.

Over $12,500 was raised for the Cerebral Palsy Adult Services League and additional funds were raised for the Cranford Rotary Charitable Fund to support Rotary scholarships.

This was the most successful golf outing for Cranford Rotary, according to the club.

Clark Shop-Rite was the main sponsor of the event, as well as 17 other sponsors, including Two River Community Bank, the Corporate Sponsor and the Garlic Rose Bistro who sponsored the $100,000 shootout. Nearly 100 other organizations and individual sponsors donated to the cause.

Marc Ruderman was presented a prize for the low gross score at the banquet that followed the outing. Tony Isaksen and Beverly Goldman were also presented prizes for low net scores and 11 others for other low scores, closest to the pin and longest drives.
