Birchwood DEP Hearing, Jaycees AFC/NFC Fundraiser This Week

A look at what's happening this week in Cranford.

The following events are happening this week in Cranford.


Foreign Film:  View “Barbara” at the Cranford Community Center on Monday at 2 p.m. The film is presented by the CCC.

Meetings:
The Cranford Committee will host a workshop meeting on Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. and the official township meeting on Tuesday at 8 p.m.

Birchwood DEP Hearing: The NJ Department of Environmental Protection will hold a public hearing on Thursday at 6 p.m. to discuss the construction of a 360 unit multifamily development in two buildings and a parking structure, along with modifications, on a portion of Birchwood Avenue. Estate Planning:
A presentation on what everyone should know about wills, trusts, estates and managing assets for loved ones will be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Cranford Community Center.

Cranford VFW Blood Drive:
The Cranford VFW is hosting their annual blood drive on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. A free T-Shirt and cholesterol screening will be held!

Evening Watercolor Class: An evening watercolor class hosted by Dianna Strom will be held at the Cranford Community Center on Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. For more information visit jcas.org or call 908-272-3743.

Free Throw Contest: The Cranford Knights of Columbus will host a free throw contest on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for children ages 10 to 14 in the St. Michael’s Gym.
