Holiday Flea Market, Holiday House Tour, Breakfast With Santa This Week

Holiday Boutique: 
The Crane-Phillips House will have its 3rd Annual Holiday Boutique to benefit the museum’s grounds. On Dec. 7 the boutique will be open from 11 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. only.  Call the Society office at 908-276-0082 for more information.

Cranford Chamber of Commerce Networking event: Bring your business cards, bring your friends. The Guest Speaker is Dr. Gayle Carrick, Superintendent of Cranford Public School System. The price is $10 for Chamber Members and $15 for non-members.

Local Author, Eric Nierstedt visits CCC: Local author Eric Nierstedt will discuss his recently published novel, “The Lightrider Journals” on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. In “The Lightrider Journals,” a man responsible for deeds of great horror and beauty tells his story, an epic fantasy that takes a look at the nature of good and evil. Mr. Nierstedt has a B.A. in English from Kean University. In 2011, his work was selected for the Unlimited Potential Theatre Production's New Jersey Wordsmith Competition. He writes for the online magazine Suite101, the Westfield Leader, and his blog, ThePopCultureMark. Copies of “The Lightrider Journals” will be available for purchase and for signing. Admission is free and all are welcome. The program is sponsored by the Cranford Public Library (Courtesy of Cranford Public Library).

The CDC Theatre presents “Dear Edwina” this weekend on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 1:30 p.m. 

Breakfast with Santa at Trinity Episcopal Church kicks off at 8:30 a.m.

The Cranford Jaycees annual holiday party is on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cranford Community Center. 

Alluem Holiday Flea: Celebrate the holiday season at the Historical Droescher’s Mill on Dec. 7 for Alluem Yoga’s first ever Holiday Market. The flea market will run from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and feature art, photography, jewelry, gifts, handmade, fair trade, unique, live music, spirits and more.

Books & Bagels: The Cranford Public Library is hosting its monthly Books & Bagels on Sunday. Bring a few of your more recent favorite reads and share with other members what you think about them. Registration is not required.

Holiday House Tour:
The Cranford Junior Woman’s Club is hosting its 24th annual holiday house tour on Sunday. The self-guided tour features some of Cranford’s treasures. Tickets still available. Read more about the event, here
