Trolley Rides, Santa Photos, Giving Back in Cranford This Week

What's happening this week in Cranford?

Giving back: Dinner in a Pinch is running a “Feed the Need” Dinner Drive from now through Dec. 27. Dinner in a Pinch will be giving a needy family $75 towards dinner and also donate a percentage from each order. If you would like to donate, or tell them of a family in need, call: 908-272-5136. Located at 1 South Avenue East.

Kilkenny House will be taking donations for Cranford Care’s Toys for Tots drive. Donations can be dropped off until December 23. Located at 112 South Ave East.

think d’sign print (11 North Ave East) – Through December 19 the store will be collecting for Toys for Tots. To donate, drop off an unwrapped toy for a child ages 2 through 17.

Classic Movie: Get in the holiday spirit with a Christmas classic: A Christmas Story. The film will be screened at the Cranford Community Center on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Blue Christmas Service: A quiet, meditative ecumenical service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Cranford on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. "Blue Christmas" is designed for those who have suffered loss or anyone who struggles with sadness, depression or anxiety during the holidays.

Santa in Cranford

Santa at Centennial: Santa hits Centennial on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at Lincoln and Centennial. Each photo is $3 each and hot chocolate and snacks will be provided by the Cranford Jaycees. 


Santa at the Gazebo: From 12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. Santa will be at the Cranford Gazebo for photos with children. Each photo is $3 each and hot chocolate will be provided by the Cranford Jaycees.

Free Trolley Rides: Hop on the trolley outside of the Cranford Gazebo every 15 minutes from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. The trolley will take 50 adults and children on a tour of Cranford with Santa singing Holiday Songs. Rides are co-sponsored by The Rotary Club of Cranford and Two River Bank.
